Groom Expo West is the West Coast edition of the Barkleigh grooming shows, held each February at the Pasadena Convention Center. It brings competition, education, and a trade floor to groomers across the western United States.

We spent four days in Pasadena with the Southern California grooming community.

It was our opening show of 2026, and the first time many of these groomers had seen a K-beauty formulation built for dogs rather than adapted from a human one. We walked through the canine pH range with anyone who asked, and left with a clearer sense of what the West Coast salons want on their shelves.
